Dan Chesanow:

With over 20 years of top management experience, Dan Chesanow has facilitated turnarounds for often complex organizations. He acquired his first business, a retail drug store, three years after earning a degree in Pharmacy. Since then, he's developed five new businesses.

After attaining an advanced business degree with a health administration concentration from Ohio State, Dan went on to serve a number of hospitals in turnaround situations as a consultant with Hospital Corporation of America Management Company.

Chesanow & Associates, established in 1989, brings clients years of management experience and a network of knowledgeable professionals.

Sheila Chesanow,

is an R.N. with a Bachelor's degree in health care management, a Masters Degree in adult education. She is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant and licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Her nursing experience includes twenty years as an OR nurse and first assistant in surgery and 20 years in long term care as a Quality Assurance Consultant, Education Consultant and Vice-President of Professional Services.

Currently Sheila is a nursing and education consultant. Sheila's areas of expertise include optimizing Medicare reimbursement in long term care, developing and implementing high performance Quality Improvement programs through team building, conducting "Mock" licensing and accreditation surveys, and evaluating facility systems. She is one of the principal presenters for the California Association of Health Facilities (C.A.H.F.) for workshops on leadership and the MDS. She has provided legal consulting for several law firms. Those that know Sheila will tell you her leadership style produces results while creating and reinforcing a positive work culture. She encourages others to use their creative talents, and she continually seeks opportunities to recognize individual and team performance.
